[Pellet-users] Expanding Commercial Support Plans

Today we're announcing two changes to our commercial support plans:

1. increasing coverage to new technologies
2. price reductions in all 4 support levels


First, we're announcing an expansion  of our commercial support plan offerings
[1] to include a wider range of C&P technologies. We're increasing coverage of
our support plans to include:

* Pellet (including apps using Jena and OWLAPI bindings)
* Owlgres
* OwlSight
* JSpace
* Protege4

Second, we've  received feedback from  customers and other  interested parties
that the  price of  our support  offerings wasn't  in line  with expectations.
We've *adjusted the price of all 4 support levels* to more closely mirror what
appears to be a reasonable average of open source support plans.

We're especially  happy to be  offer commercial support  not only for  our OWL
reasoners (Pellet and Owlgres) and  client browsers (OwlSight and JSpace), but
also for Protege 4 [2]. We think Protege4 is the best open source OWL ontology
development  environment  available, and  we'll  be  offering some  commercial
plugins for Protege 4 in Q3 of 2008.
