[Pellet-users] perform reasoning using ontology stored into a database

Hi to all!

The problem I face is the following: I want to perform reasoning using
Pellet, without a lot of memory consumption. I currently use jena to store
my ontology into mysql database. For this purpose I use the default
persistent model jena provides (
http://jena.sourceforge.net/DB/creating-db-models.html).

But when I use Pellet to perform reasoning I see the memory consumption to
rise. Is this because Pellet loads the ontology to memory? If yes, is it
possible to perform reasoning without loading the ontology to memory?

Thanks in advance!
