[Pellet-users] Using Jess API and Pellet OWL-API, possible?

Hi all,

I'm not sure whether I'm on the right track and I hope someone from this mail list can give some advise.
I would like to incorporate SWRL into ontology which includes swrlb:builtin that are ignored by Pellet, and I understand that rule engine like Jess ignores many OWL restrictions. Hence, I wonder if it is feasible to use both Jess API and OWL API in my java program to access Jess (which I would like to convert OWL facts into Jess facts for rule execution and followed by inserting new inferred facts into OWL knowledge base) and Pellet (to check for consistency and query the reasoner) functionalities?

Many thanks.

Regards,Shu Lin
