Pellet users,

We are pleased to announce the release of Pellet 1.5.1, which you can
download from the Pellet download page:

http://pellet.owldl.com/download/

This release is primarily a bug fix and maintenance release in
preparation for the next major release; the major changes that have been
incorporated since the 1.5.0 release include:

      * Improvements to the DL-Safe Rules implementation including
        support for datatype properties and some SWRL Built-Ins
      * Improvements in Jena interface including an update to Jena 2.5.4
        and adding completeness to Model.listStatements
      * Updated OWLAPI to 2.1.0 release
      * Core Pellet bug fixes and improvements

See http://cvsdude.com/trac/clark-parsia/pellet-devel/report/11 for more
details on these and other changes in the 1.5.1 release.

This release is the first version for which we are announcing and
offering commercial support plans; if you're using Pellet in a way that
requires commercial support, please consider getting in touch with us.
More details are available at the Pellet Commercial Support page:

Looking forward, we anticipate the 1.6 release will include the
following changes:

      * Major chunks of Pellet functionality will be bundled and
        licensed separately so that users have more flexibility with
        respect to how they use Pellet in commercial and non-commercial
        offerings
      * Pronto, a probabilistic extension of Pellet, will be available
        under the GPL (for technical details see [1])
      * Incremental ABox reasoning enhancements
      * Incremental TBox reasoning including classification
      * Locality-based ontology partitioning
      * Initial SPARQL-DL query support
