Hi,
I am now doing a research project to provide secondary storage for DL
language. We assume that the ontology is too big that only portion of it can
be fitted into the main memory. We want the system to provide subsumption,
realization and classification service. Binary store or relational database
are candidate persistent layer.
I checked Pellet's main data structure and I am not sure how to
integrate it with the persistent layer. Meanwhile, I find recent DL papers
normally discuss the query optimization issues and ontology division issues,
while it's hard to find related papers about the DL secondary storage. Is
there any works/hints on the Pellet system for secondary storage? Or it's
better to refer to some other approaches such as the LP database? Thanks!

Cheers!
